Growing up in Canada and being a life-long athlete, Gerald developed a strong passion for competition, achieving excellence and team work. In his athletic career, Gerald played college basketball and excelled in Men’s Softball playing for both the Canadian and US National teams with his last professional outing at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.
For AeroFlexx, Gerald brings over 14 years of financial and operational leadership experience in manufacturing, retail and customer service which he developed through his ever-increasing leadership roles in finance, operations, engineering, quality and project management leading for LM Wind Power (acquisition of GE) and Amazon. Gerald holds a six-sigma green belt and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University along with a Masters of Business Administration from Dalhousie University.
In his role prior to joining the AeroFlexx team, Gerald lead all US & Latin American customer service teams as the North American Finance Manager for Amazon encompassing over 10,000 customer service employees and $250MM+ budget. Gerald’s leadership and understanding overall operations were instrumental in optimizing costs to the lowest levels ever achieved in North America for Customer Service while simultaneously growing its operations by 30% YOY all while consistently driving quality improvements to keep Amazon ranked #1 in the World for Customer Service.
Gerald’s overall operational leadership and collective financial experiences are going to be critical in helping grow businesses created through AeroFlexx.
