Doug is a senior global operations and supply chain executive with more than 20 years of experience across major global organizations. He currently serves as the Vice President of Operations for AeroFlexx, an Innventure portfolio company, and brings diverse industry experience having worked across medical devices, dental, eyewear, consumer goods, food and beverage, apparel and equipment manufacturing, and retail over the course of his career.
In the past five years, Doug has participated in a number of start-ups and thoroughly enjoys helping entrepreneurial organizations deploy disruptive technologies in a scalable way. Before joining AeroFlexx, Doug was CEO of Operations Education, where he spent three years working with CEOs, boards and directors to up-level their global operations.
Prior to founding Operations Education, Doug served as Chief Supply Chain Officer for Teespring, a $650 million valued start-up focused on real-time delivery of customized products. During his first 90 days, Doug led the turnaround of a facility, achieving savings of $6.7 million in year 1 and $20 million in year 2. He delivered 15% gross margin improvement in 12 months and scaled 30 new products while supporting more than two million new products available through Amazon. Working with his team, Doug transformed the customer experience dramatically by reducing production turnaround from five days to two hours, adding seven days to the holiday sales window and unleashing a rush service differentiating Teespring from the competition.
Douglas received both his MBA and BS in Agricultural Business from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
